Define and optimize manufacturing processes for automotive structural components, including stamping, forging, casting, machining, and roll forming. Develop process documentation, qualify suppliers, lead manufacturing engineering projects, support prototype builds, and resolve quality issues using root-cause analysis, 8D, and CAPA. Apply metallurgical expertise to material selection and failure analysis while coordinating cross-functional teams and supporting procurement, customer complaints, and industry engagement.
