Define oDVT coverage, calibration and manufacturing test strategies, automation, documentation, and release approvals while ensuring compliance with product requirements and industry standards.

Define and execute end-to-end validation strategies for coherent pluggable optics and transponder products. Lead system, feature, regression, white-box, and black-box testing across hardware, ASIC, firmware, and software layers. Perform root cause analysis, expand test coverage, support scalable test automation, assess release readiness, and provide risk sign-off. Collaborate with distributed cross-functional teams, stay current with telecom standards, and mentor junior engineers.

Own mechanical design and packaging for high-density optical transceiver modules, including next-generation pluggable form factors. Lead mechanical architecture, thermal optimization, DFM, cost reduction, standards compliance, qualification, validation, and manufacturing issue resolution. Collaborate with optics, electronics, thermal, suppliers, and manufacturing partners from concept through production.

Leads signal integrity engineering for high-speed optical networking hardware, including PCB and system analysis, pre- and post-layout SI/PI simulations, stack-up and laminate selection, connector and interconnect modeling, and laboratory validation using VNA and TDR equipment. Collaborates with hardware, layout, mechanical, firmware, and optical teams to optimize performance and establish SI best practices for 800G and future 1.6T platforms.
