Operate and improve GoDaddy’s large-scale Linux database infrastructure across Percona MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Cassandra. Responsibilities include maintaining database health, building observability and telemetry, improving performance, managing patching at scale, and automating operational processes. The role requires strong Linux administration, scripting, programming, open-source datastore experience, and experience operating services across hundreds of nodes or more.

Leads the architecture, delivery, and operation of scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems. Drives greenfield initiatives, technical standards, observability, reliability, and cross-team engineering execution. Mentors engineers, leads design reviews and Agile ceremonies, resolves complex production issues, and promotes AI-assisted development and reusable cloud-native platforms. Requires extensive backend, AWS, database, infrastructure-as-code, distributed systems, and technical leadership experience.

Leads an India-based machine learning infrastructure engineering team, overseeing hiring, mentoring, technical direction, roadmap planning, and delivery. Owns cloud-native ML serving, CI/CD, model deployment, GPU orchestration, observability, reliability, and platform capabilities across AWS. Partners with ML scientists, data engineers, backend teams, product managers, and US leadership to productionize models and support scalable, low-latency systems. Participates in system design, incident response, on-call operations, post-mortems, and full software development lifecycle activities.
