Designs, develops, integrates, and validates aerospace control systems and embedded solutions for engine and power systems. Responsibilities include requirements engineering, system architecture, control-system analysis, MATLAB/Simulink modeling, SIL/HIL testing, sensor and actuator integration, embedded C development, and aerospace certification support. The role applies systems engineering, model-based development, real-time embedded concepts, and compliance with ARP4754A, ARP4761, DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-160.

Provides forecasting, financial analysis, annual operating plans, and performance reporting for aerospace businesses. Provides technical leadership for display graphics application software and platform services. Develops software architecture, designs, and embedded C++ implementations; evaluates new technologies; optimizes GPU, CPU, and memory performance; supports integration and field investigations; participates in design reviews; creates software tests; and mentors junior engineers.

Technically lead aerospace navigation database customer support and delivery. Translate customer requirements into solutions, resolve NavDB FMS issues, coordinate with internal teams and source suppliers, and ensure database quality under DO-200 standards. Conduct audits and technical reviews, optimize production processes, and mentor team members. Apply expertise in aviation principles, instrument flying, ARINC 424, navigation routes, flight planning, and aeronautical charts while maintaining delivery commitments.

Provides systems safety engineering for aircraft turbine engines and power systems. Conducts hazard, reliability, and root cause analyses; develops safety requirements, plans, procedures, and reports; reviews designs for regulatory compliance; manages requirements using DOORS; supports certification and qualification; collaborates cross-functionally on risk mitigation, reliability metrics, process automation, and AI-enabled safety improvements.

Provides technical leadership for FAA and EASA certification and qualification of aircraft turbine engines and auxiliary power units. Prepares and reviews certification and qualification plans, reports, and related artifacts; coordinates with aviation regulators; standardizes and improves certification processes; and applies automation and artificial intelligence to reduce cycle time and cost. Supports systems engineering activities, talent development, technical coaching, and innovation across Honeywell Aerospace programs.

Leads multiple aerospace datalink product development teams within an Aircraft Communication, Navigation and Surveillance center of excellence. Oversees avionics system and software development, program execution, quality, budgets, cost and cycle-time reduction, Agile transformation, digital engineering adoption, innovation, stakeholder engagement, and talent management. Requires strong avionics expertise, aerospace software design experience, knowledge of DO-178B/C and ARP4754A, and demonstrated technical and people leadership.

Lead export compliance activities including transaction screening, license management, audits, risk assessments, policy and SOP development, training, and tracking compliance KPIs to ensure adherence to global export laws and internal controls.
