National Alliance on Mental Illness

NAMI (the National Alliance on Mental Illness) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. It works to build better lives for people affected by mental illness through advocacy, education, support, and public awareness. Founded by families, NAMI operates as an alliance of more than 650 local affiliates and 49 state organizations, delivering community-based resources and assistance across communities throughout the United States.
