Manage the end-to-end AMI supply chain for smart meters and accessories, including planning, forecasting, procurement, inventory reconciliation, ERP stock monitoring, vendor invoices, testing, inspections, warranty management, and operational coordination. Review supplier compliance and tender documentation, support technical evaluations, manage client approvals, ensure process compliance and audits, and resolve customer or utility escalations and inventory risks.

Lead planning, implementation, monitoring and optimization of AMI communications (RF Mesh and Cellular). Provide technical support to site managers, coordinate with system integrators and OEMs, inspect SIM/NIC/antenna hardware, develop/deploy NMS, analyze failures and conduct root cause analysis, and resolve communication-related SLA issues.

The Senior Engineer - AMI is responsible for stock management, logistics coordination, project tracking, documentation compliance, and reporting on procurement status.

Lead IT/OT implementation and support for AMI projects, ensure IT infrastructure readiness, review AMI designs, coordinate with system integrators and DISCOMs, manage SLAs, and oversee development of WFM, consumer app, and web portal to achieve successful project Go-Live.

Develops and implements state- and site-specific AMI HSSE management systems, procedures, audits and training. Monitors HSSE performance, leads incident investigations, drives IMS (ISO 45001/14001) certification, conducts site inspections, toolbox talks, and stakeholder coordination to ensure safe execution of AMI operations.

Implement and manage state/site HSSE systems for AMI assets: develop HSSE strategy, risk assessments, audits, inspections, incident investigations, training, PTW/LOTO, reporting, and certification (ISO 45001/14001). Drive contractor compliance, statutory adherence, and HSSE culture through leadership walks, toolbox talks, and stakeholder coordination.
