Job Description:
1. Mission Lead commercial and contractual activities for assigned defence programmes, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, contractual obligations, and effective stakeholder communication across the contract lifecycle2. Main Activities- Lead contract review, bid preparation, and commercial compliance matrices
- Interpret contract requirements, manage change and resolve conflict
- Maintain Contract trackers, milestones, and payment schedules
- Analyze the risks, issues and opportunities of various contract terms and present them
- Assist invoicing, documentation, and follow up actions to ensure timely receipt of payment
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams
- Prepare clear commercial summaries, trackers, and presentations for internal reviews
- Represent the company to diverse customers, including Government of India defense institutions with responsibility to develop and/or maintain effective working relationships with customer counterparts
- Strong business communication and negotiation capability
- Proven stakeholder management across cross-functional and customer teams
- Solid understanding of contract management and commercial risk
- Detail-oriented, compliance-focused, and structured working style
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Knowledge of Defence Acquisition Procedure (DAP) and Defence Procurement Manual (DPM) of the Ministry of Defence, Government of India with specific reference to Standard Contract Document Terms & Conditions.
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering / Law / Management / Commerce);
- Postgraduate qualification in Law or Management would strengthen candidature
- 4-5 years of experience in Defence, aerospace, or regulated project environments
- Reports to: Commercial & Contracts Manager
