By centralizing key business and consulting functions, we streamline operations, optimize service delivery, and enable our teams to focus on what matters most—advising clients on sustainability challenges with agility and innovation. Through the GDC, you will collaborate with international teams, leverage emerging technologies, and further enhance ERM’s commitment to excellence—amplifying our shared mission to make a lasting, positive impact.

Role Objective

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to support the execution of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, with a strong emphasis on email marketing as we optimize this channel for the business.

You will work closely with marketers across the business to help shape and deliver best-in-class campaigns, offering input and hands-on support to ensure flawless execution. This role needs to be a hands-on marketer who collaborates closely with marketers across all ERM’s industries and regions to deliver exceptional campaigns.

You will be dedicated to improving brand engagement, lead generation, and client retention through campaign activities. You will feel comfortable advising on best practice to optimize marketing campaigns for commercial return. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration, enjoys bringing campaign ideas to life, and is passionate about applying digital best practices to drive performance.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign design and delivery

· Collaborate and ideate with marketers to design and deliver multi-touchpoint campaigns across digital channels/ assets such as website, email, social media and paid media/ search.

· Craft customer journey’s which nurture new or existing prospects across the marketing funnel, increasing awareness of ERM in the marketing, encouraging engagement with marketing campaigns and convert into demand generation.

· Use both demographic and behavioural indicators to segment audiences and message them with targeted communications, especially over email, that will resonate.

· Confidently leverage marketing automation and CRM data and functionality for seamless campaign execution.

· Leverage analytics and data to share insights with project teams to influence the adaptations made to campaigns.

· Meet campaign KPIs, as well as commercial lead generation to positively influence revenue generation.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and sales, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.

· Collaborate with marketers to translate campaign briefs into actionable plans.

· Ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with brand and compliance standards.

Email Optimisation

· Utilize Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) to develop, implement, and optimize email marketing campaigns to drive engagement, conversions, and retention.

· Create compelling email content, advising marketers on subject lines, copy, and visuals, that align with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.

· Segment email lists based on customer behavior, preferences, and demographics to ensure targeted and personalized messaging, including A/B testing strategies.

· Create trigger or drip campaigns that deliver relevant, targeted and timely email communications based on a prospect’s most recent activities.

· Leverage email to support marketing operations and CRM strategies e.g. using automated email campaigns to engage stale data or onboard newly acquired records.

· Monitor and report on key email marketing metrics (open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, etc.) to measure campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Best Practice & Enablement

· Act as a digital marketing advisor to internal teams, sharing insights and recommendations based on industry best practices.

· Maintain campaign playbooks, templates, and QA checklists to ensure consistency and quality.

· Stay up to date with digital trends, tools, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR).

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, approx. 2+ years of experience in digital marketing in a B2B environment, ideally consultancy

· Proven experience as a Digital/ Email Marketing Specialist or similar role.

· Hands-on experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) is highly desirable.

· Strong understanding of email marketing principles, segmentation, and personalization techniques.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency in HTML/CSS for email design is a plus.

· Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

· Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
