Configure and deploy platform settings for new members, manage onboarding operations and data imports, support UAT, troubleshoot basic integrations, and document/configure to ensure quality prior to go-live.
We are seeking a Configuration & Technical Setup Specialist to join our dedicated Configuration Team. This role is crucial for delivering a flawless initial experience for our members by managing the technical groundwork and ensuring smooth system activation.
Key Responsibilities:
As a specialist on the Configuration Team, you will be responsible for the technical deployment and quality assurance of our platform for new members:
- Platform Configuration Execution: Perform hands-on configuration of the platform according to documented specifications and member requirements. You will ensure all settings, permissions, and features are correctly implemented for launch
- Onboarding [Launch] Operations for Our Members: Own the critical operational steps for bringing new members live, including managing and executing necessary tasks like member file uploads and full onboarding setup within the system
- UAT Support (User Acceptance Testing): Provide essential support during User Acceptance Testing phases. This involves preparing test environments, assisting members with test execution, documenting feedback, and ensuring all configurations meet quality standards before go-live
- Integration Support (Non-Engineering Level): Act as the technical liaison for basic integration setup. You will assist with troubleshooting configuration-related aspects of integrations and provide operational support that bridges the gap between the member and our engineering teams
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical implementation, system administration, or platform configuration.
- A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to process adherence and quality assurance
- Proficiency in handling data imports/uploads and working with structured data formats (e.g., CSV, XML)
- Familiarity with common UAT processes and the ability to guide users through testing phases
- Strong communication and documentation skills for working with both internal teams and external members
Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:
- Internet Connection:
- Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
- Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.
- Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.
- Primary Device:
- Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:
- Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.
- A minimum of 8 GB RAM.
- Backup Device:
- Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
- Must be functional during power interruptions.
- A functioning webcam.
- A noise-canceling USB headset.
- A quiet, dedicated home office space.
