We are looking for an experienced FPGA Design Engineer with a wireless communication industry background to contribute to and oversee the design and development of high-speed wireless communication systems from concept, creation, verification, and integration. The ideal candidate should have worked in RF-based wireless communication domains preferably 3G/4G/WiFi/WiMax and should have a strong interest in research and building new technologies. Apart from excellent hands-on experience in RTL design, the candidate should be well versed in wireless communication concepts, networking protocols, modulation/demodulation, etc.

Responsibilities- Contribute and oversee design and development of wireless communication systems using FPGA implementation in VHDL or Verilog.
- Stay updated with technical advancements and trends in FPGA and multiple-core microprocessor platforms and development tools.
- Produce unique solutions for technical challenges including VHDL and Verilog coding and communication system architecture.
- Spearhead technical project teams with responsibility for technical performance, cost, and schedules.
- Minimum M.Tech or PG Certification in FPGA/RTL Design.
- Strong academic background preferred (Masters, PhD).
- Strong knowledge of FPGA architecture design in Verilog, System Verilog, and/or VHDL.
- Experience in implementing high-speed designs.
- Verification skills.
- Object-oriented design and programming is a plus (C/C++).
- 3+ years of industry experience.
- Strong understanding of modulation/demodulation techniques (QPSK, QAM, OFDM, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of wireless communication concepts and mandatory experience in 3G/4G/WiFi/WiMax technologies.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
