We are looking for a hands-on Trading Operations Analyst to monitor and support our automated trading systems across global spot and futures markets. This is a live desk monitoring role where you will work closely with traders and engineers to ensure our market-making bots and hedging strategies run smoothly overnight.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor open positions and automated trading strategies (spot and futures).
- Oversee market-making bots: review system logs, validate order placement and executions, and flag unexpected behavior.
- Identify and escalate issues such as system errors, disconnects, abnormal P&L swings, liquidity gaps, or hedging breakdowns.
- Ensure hedging and risk limits are automatically maintained within set parameters; step in when manual intervention is required.
- Troubleshoot automation workflows and communicate with core trading/engineering teams on system fixes and optimizations.
- Provide nightly reports on trading system performance, liquidity conditions, and incident handling.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with automated trading systems, algorithms, or market-making bots (crypto, FX, equities, or futures).
- Strong knowledge of order books, spreads, liquidity dynamics, arbitrage, and hedging mechanisms.
- Technical literacy - able to read and interpret logs, monitor dashboards, and spot system anomalies.
- Familiarity with trading APIs, FIX protocol, or exchange connectivity tools is a strong plus.
- Experience troubleshooting issues such as wide spreads, lack of counterparties, execution delays, or liquidity shortages.
- Previous background in crypto trading, HFT, or algorithmic trading support preferred.
- Comfortable working night shifts and handling high-pressure incidents in real time.
Schedule:
- Shifts covering the following hours: 20:00 – 08:00 UTC+4 / GST (Dubai time)
