Primary Purpose:

The Developer will assist on all production development assignments from early development to confirmed sample sign-off and support with execution of full range within product development work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the footwear product process and directly interact with vendors to provide an effective transition of footwear designs from proto into production.
  • Handle development projects with the guidance and support of the team leader. 
  • Review the tech pack with oversea teams and vendors.  
  • Coordinate with Raw Material Sourcing, Tooling and other teams to ensure timely delivery execution as required by design.
  • Ensure all specs are accurate and on schedule to support timeline.
  • Support sample material transfer between vendors; Support trims / 2nd upper process.
  • Heads up long lead-time projects to Supply Chain Management.
  • Communicate all products, shipping, tracking, between factory and overseas team.
  • Team up RA meeting internally and expand to SPs achieve CRFs corrections, clarification, and wear test /lab test samples during this stage.
  • Meet and influence product quality to meet the highest standard during each phase of sampling.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • At least 3 years working experience in footwear industry for Developer; Demonstrates an advanced knowledge of product category, product materials, and product development lifecycle.
  • Proficient office software (word, excel, PowerPoint)
  • Own organization and communication skills
  • Fluent English both written and verbal. Chinese is preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
