Job Overview:

The Total Rewards Manager will oversee the development, implementation, and management of the company's compensation and benefits programs for India. This role is crucial in ensuring that the organization offers competitive and equitable total rewards packages to attract, retain, and motivate employees. This role provides reward advice, consultation and analysis as well as support on total reward projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge in total reward practices across India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage the compensation structure for employees across different levels.
  • Conduct market benchmarking and pay surveys to ensure competitive pay practices.
  • Lead ad hoc projects for India including regular pay analysis, review of internal salary ranges, benefits review and career pathways.
  • Work closely with business leaders and Total Rewards leadership to ensure compensation and benefits strategies align with company goals.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs such as health insurance, retirement plans and wellness programs.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of benefit offerings to ensure they remain competitive and cost-effective.
  • Work with insurance providers, brokers, and vendors to negotiate plans and manage vendor relationships.
  • Provide advice to the India HR teams regarding internal promotions and transfers.
  • Ensure proper communication of incentive programs to employees and leadership.
  • Ensure all compensation and benefits practices comply with Indian labor laws, tax regulations, and government policies.
  • Prepare and manage regular reports for leadership on total rewards metrics, compensation trends, and cost analyses.
  • Audit compensation and benefits data to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Act as a point of contact for employees regarding compensation and benefits inquiries.
  • Communicate changes in compensation and benefits programs effectively to all employees.
  • Leverage HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and other tools to gather data and improve the effectiveness of the rewards programs.
  • Analyze trends and metrics related to compensation and benefits, providing actionable insights for management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 8 years of experience in Compensation and Benefits.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation analysis, benefits administration, and incentive programs.
  • Familiarity with Indian labor laws, tax regulations, and government policies related to compensation and benefits.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated examples of being a key advisor on all reward matters and be a thought partner, with skills in communicating ideas while challenging, provoking and inciting action.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various teams and departments.
  • Advanced knowledge and ability with various Microsoft suites e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
