Applicants for this role have the flexibility to work remotely anywhere in the Continental United States.
Position Purpose: Assist with the preparation of state income, local income, and franchise tax returns, including estimated tax payments and extension calculations.
- Prepare state and city income/ franchise tax returns and supporting schedules
- Prepare state modification calculations for inclusion in our state provision and returns
- Calculate state estimated payments and extension payments
- Analyze and respond to state tax notices
- Defend against state tax audits by gathering information and preparing workpapers
- Model state tax impact of potential transactions
- Research state tax laws and apply them to relevant facts
- Collaborate on process improvement and automation projects
- Assist with special projects as needed
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Tax experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word applications
- Experience with PeopleSoft, Checkpoint, and OneSource Tax Provision preferred
License/Certification:
- CPA preferred
Pay Range: $55,100.00 - $99,000.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
