Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer with 3-5 years of demonstrable experience in developing Power BI solutions and proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions). The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights and a proven track record of delivering high-quality BI solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and implement data models, including relationships, calculated columns, measures, and DAX expressions.
- Optimize data queries and performance tuning for efficient data retrieval and visualization.
- Integrate Power BI solutions with other systems and data sources as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Power BI solutions.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing to empower end-users with self-service BI capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Power BI development, with a strong understanding of data modeling concepts and DAX.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Experience in transforming and cleansing data from various sources for analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with a proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power BI Associate are a plus.
