We are seeking an experienced ITSM Reporting and Dashboard Analyst to join our team in a night shift role. As an ITSM Reporting and Dashboard Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing and delivering impactful reports and dashboards using the ServiceNow platform. Your expertise in data analysis, reporting capabilities, and stakeholder collaboration will contribute to optimizing ITSM processes and driving informed decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize your minimum of 3 years of experience in creating ITSM reports and dashboards on the ServiceNow platform to deliver timely and accurate data-driven insights.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of all ServiceNow out-of-the-box reporting and dash boarding functionality, leveraging your expertise to develop impactful solutions.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to understand reporting needs and requests, working towards developing reports and dashboards that align with business objectives.
- Take end-to-end accountability for designing, developing, and implementing on-platform ServiceNow reports and dashboards.
- Identify, inventory, assess, rationalize, and prioritize reporting needs, ensuring that reports and dashboards effectively meet enterprise requirements across all business sectors.
- Create guidelines, processes, and best practices to promote consistent data usage and to eliminate redundant reporting within the platform.
- Review and optimize reports for platform performance, providing guidance to end-users on minimizing negative platform impacts when creating reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams globally, fostering collaboration and engagement to ensure successful report development and delivery.
- Develop reports and dashboards based on gathered requirements, partnering with stakeholders and providing training to enable self-sufficiency.
- Uphold company policies and procedures to maintain data integrity while delivering high-quality reports and dashboards.
- Partner with other teams to consolidate and address enterprise-wide reporting requirements that extend beyond on-platform reporting capabilities.
- Support management by addressing other organizational reporting needs as identified.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience creating ITSM reports and dashboards using the ServiceNow platform, showcasing a deep understanding of data visualization and reporting principles.
- Strong familiarity with ServiceNow's out-of-the-box reporting and dashboarding capabilities, enabling you to design impactful solutions.
- Proficiency in Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration, Knowledge, and Request Management processes.
- Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders, identify reporting needs, and translate them into actionable reports and dashboards.
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams on a global scale.
- Solid understanding of service management principles and their application to IT services.
- Proven ability to interact constructively with peers and senior management, providing valuable insights and contributing to business-focused discussions.
