About the RoleAftershoot is a leading AI post-processing software company with over 100,000 users and tens of thousands of customers. We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to improve our share of voice and drive organic growth.
The SEO Specialist will be responsible for developing and executing effective SEO strategies that align with our marketing goals and improve our search engine rankings, with a strong emphasis on technical optimization and emerging AI-powered search landscapes.
This role demands an individual with a deep understanding of SEO best practices, technical auditing capabilities, and the ability to adapt to the evolving landscape of search engine algorithms and generative AI platforms.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, web developers, and marketing specialists, to ensure a cohesive and effective SEO approach that balances user experience with search engine requirements.
💼 What you’ll do:Own and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy across traditional and emerging search platforms.
Build and prioritize an SEO roadmap, including regular technical audits and performance improvements.
Conduct high-intent keyword research aligned with business goals.
Optimize website pages, landing pages, and metadata for visibility, engagement, and speed.
Collaborate with content and marketing teams to align SEO with user intent and AI-search visibility (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, etc.).
Monitor performance using tools like GA, PostHog, and PageSpeed Insights; iterate based on data.
Continuously improve Core Web Vitals and overall site performance.
Partner with engineering to implement technical SEO best practices.
Lead link-building initiatives to strengthen authority and rankings.
Provide regular performance reports and strategic insights to leadership.
2-5 years of SEO experience, ideally in SaaS or technology.
Proven track record of driving measurable growth in organic traffic, rankings, and conversions.
Strong understanding of search algorithms, ranking systems, and evolving SEO best practices.
Deep expertise in keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, link building, and content strategy.
Experience conducting competitive analysis and identifying content and performance gaps.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to algorithm and AI-search updates.
Hands-on experience improving technical SEO: semantic HTML, schema markup, Core Web Vitals, efficient resource loading, and minimizing heavy JS/iframes.
Familiarity with optimizing for generative AI platforms and AI-powered search experiences.
