Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack)

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.

• Craft client code that is not just efficient, but also performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.

• Actively participate in accurate planning and estimation efforts, utilizing project methods and tools.

• Proficiently gather requirements and organize/present developed features for clients.

• Execute complex activities within the current methodology and quality standards, showcasing success across diverse engagements.

• Promote client success across the team by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points, anticipate potential problems, and iterate on solutions that drive client success.

• Engage in agile software development, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and other governance activities.

• Actively participate in the Engineering Practice community, mentoring others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams, and supporting the growth of technical capabilities.

• Independently drive project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy and accountability in all stages from conceptualization to deployment.

• Core Feature Engineering: Develop critical functional logic across platform components, including global identity management, cross-system profile sync configurations, and conditional event state machines for multi-variant tournament bracket processing.

• High-Performance Client Architectures: Build out client-side data persistence layers and sync semantics for native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) or Android (Kotlin/Compose) structures, ensuring a sub-2-second cold launch target and reliable local reads under zero-connectivity field conditions.

• Cryptographic Data Protections: Implement field-level encryption protocols using AWS KMS customer-managed keys on sensitive user attributes, specifically enclosing minor-athlete medical, dietary, and safeguarding-restricted parameters.

• Advanced Integration Adapters: Construct third-party integration adapters running at a non-accelerated baseline factor, connecting messaging transports (WhatsApp Business API fan-out), profile systems of record, and peer-to-peer payment gateway handoffs.

• Automated Verification Feeds: Write comprehensive unit, integration, and contract test fixtures to feed the automated evaluation harness, ensuring that features cleanly handle complex boundary conditions.

• Technical Mentorship & Governance: Perform exhaustive code reviews at assigned trust tiers and provide active mentorship to software engineers regarding modular decoupling, defensive coding, and domain safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience/expertise in the following areas specified below*:

  • Expertise in NodeJs(primary), React, React Native, mobile app experience, Docker, Postgres

  • Proven experience in developing microservices and local environment setup

  • Proven track record of Design, development and implementation of React UI/.Net based large volume, high availability enterprise applications

  • Experience on exception handling, correct use of data structures, multi-threaded programming, memory management and application tuning

  • Strong NodeJs (Typescript, Express Framework, type-orm, class-validator) based microservices development

  • Must have excellent exposure in Unit Testing by jest

  • Good knowledge in design patterns

  • Good hands on experience with RDBMS like Oracle/ SQLServer & have ability to write data structures, basic SQL Queries & knowledge of joins, Views, Group By, Having Clause etc

  • Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills with ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Experience in Agile software development methodologies.

  • Expertise in applying Object-Oriented Programming principles (abstraction, encapsulation).

  • High-level design proficiency following UML / C4 / ArchiMate.

  • Experience in creating and implementing well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems.

  • Practice and initiative mentoring other engineers and decision-makers throughout the organization.

  • Good understanding of SOLID principles.

  • Familiarity with OWASP.

  • Proficiency in the English language.

  Additional Experience Desired:

  • Object-Relational Mappers (ORMs)

  • Architectural (Microservices, Serverless etc) and Design (Factory, Singleton, Observer etc) Patterns

  • Unit Testing

  • Working in the Cloud

  • Containers using Docker/Kubernetes

  • Specific client-engagement specified technologies, which will be determined and vetted at the time of the interview.

  • Core Architectural Track Focus:

    • For Mobile Focus: Advanced proficiency in native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) or native Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose), local database architectures (SQLite, CoreData, Room), and offline delta-sync patterns against server cursors.

    • For Backend Focus: Advanced proficiency in modular backend engineering, contract-driven REST/BFF API design, data aggregation models, and multi-tenant schema isolation.

    • AWS Environment Fluency: Direct experience provisioning and utilizing AWS resources, including private Amazon S3 media buckets utilizing short-expiry access tokens, parameter stores, and serverless compute executions.

    • Data Tier Mastery: Strong proficiency in SQL and relational database design, with an engineering-level understanding of tenant isolation constraints and row-level data access policies.

    • Experience Parameters: 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping enterprise-grade, multi-tenant web platforms or native consumer mobile applications.
