Senior Software Developer, Full Stack (React & Oops) | 5-8 Years

How You'll Make an Impact

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality features across the full stack - from front end components and user interfaces to back end APIs and server-side logic. 
• Contribute to and help maintain the team's design system, ensuring consistency and reusability across the product. 
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs that support product features, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability. 
• Identify and resolve complex bugs and performance issues across the stack in foundational systems. 
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback that raises the quality of the team's output. 
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers across disciplines to deliver cohesive, well-integrated features. 
• Support modernization efforts on core platform infrastructure, helping move the codebase forward incrementally and responsibly. 
• Upskill other team members and help those around you grow technically. 
• Drive the adoption of AI-driven development practices and innovative tooling to enhance engineering productivity and accelerate high-quality software delivery. 

We'd Love to See

• 5-8 years of experience in full stack or combined front end and back end software development 
• Strong proficiency in React and modern JavaScript / TypeScript 
• Interest in AI and willingness to explore AI-driven solutions to enhance performance and drive efficiencies 
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs 
• Experience working with and maintaining a design system 
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and front end performance best practices 
• Comfortable contributing to large, established codebases across the full stack 
• Experience in object-oriented methodologies and design patterns 
• Prior experience in a Scrum / Agile environment 
• Self-motivated and self-directed with a passion for building great software end to end 

• Experience with Backbone.js is a plus 
• Experience with Dropwizard or Spring Boot 
• Experience with Java 
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases 
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS 
• Experience with front end testing frameworks such as Playwright (Storybook and Selenium a plus) 
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline and/or equivalent experience
