Octopus by RTG is hiring a Senior Salesforce Product Owner for one of our partners.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Salesforce Product Owner to lead the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of Salesforce-based solutions. This role bridges business needs and technical execution, ensuring that Salesforce capabilities are leveraged to drive business value, improve user experience, and support scalable growth.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the Salesforce product roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
  • Act as the primary point of contact between business teams and Salesforce development teams
  • Prioritize backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and dependencies
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and product demos in Agile environments
  • Ensure successful delivery of Salesforce solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.)
  • Monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Define KPIs and track success metrics for Salesforce initiatives
  • Ensure best practices in Salesforce configuration, customization, and integrations
  • Support change management, user training, and adoption strategies

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce platform (e.g., Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce capabilities, limitations, and best practices
  • Experience writing user stories and managing product backlogs
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language
