Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our Test Automation CoE team. As a Functional and Automation Tester, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality software products by conducting thorough testing of complex SAP, Web, Mobile, API based applications. Your expertise in manual testing and automation using Tosca will be pivotal in identifying defects, improving efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Operations and Support:

- Design, develop, and execute manual test scripts for e-commerce applications.

- Ensure components meet application requirements and undergo regression testing before final acceptance.

- Report defects, manage the defect lifecycle, and ensure timely resolution.

- Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA), RRCA, and other quality control activities.

- Collaborate with product development to evaluate system interfaces, operational needs, and performance requirements.

- Define test methods and create detailed test plans for new/updated software to ensure performance under normal and abnormal conditions.

- Execute test plans, generate test reports, and escalate repeated/critical issues to management for resolution.

- Develop tools to facilitate data gathering and improve testing efficiency.

Automation - Tosca:

- Develop and maintain automation scripts for desktop, web, and SAP ERP applications using Tosca.

- Automate end-to-end (E2E) scripts across multiple applications.

- Handle and maintain complex automation frameworks or build new ones from scratch.

- Design and execute Tosca automated scripts to support testing needs.

- Set up and automate testing for System, Integration, E2E, and UAT environments, focusing on smoke and regression testing.

- Perform necessary testing, including test data creation, script execution, debugging errors, and analyzing results.

- Ensure test scripts are clear, complete, and executable with a high degree of quality.

- Provide status reports and work collaboratively with the Test Lead and Manager.

- Partner with team members to define the scope of test cases to automate.

- Leverage automated and test management tools, and develop test strategies and plans.

- Perform test data conditioning, regression testing, and validation of moderately complex to complex systems.

Technical Skills:

- 7+ years of experience in software testing across Tosca, SAP, Mobile, Web, and API platforms.

- Strong knowledge of functional test case design and development.

- Proficient in Tosca automation testing with hands-on experience.

- Expertise in software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

- Proficiency in REST/SOAP API testing using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Rest Assured.

- Familiarity with bug tracking and version control systems.

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Process and Tools:

- Adaptable to frequent changes and experienced in dynamic Agile environments, including large end-to-end implementations.

- Process-oriented, contributing to continuous improvements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions.

- Extensive experience with tools like JIRA.

Interpersonal & Communication Skills:

- Demonstrates application ownership with flexibility to provide support during off-hours and holidays.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
