What you'll be doing:
- Conduct analysis and deep dives on ambiguous problems for our business. Your work will result in insights and recommendations that guide the team’s decision making.
- Act as owner for a broad scope of data and metrics, from core logging to presentation of data visualizations.
- Guide code reviews, provide SQL and Python expertise, and create well-maintained ETL jobs.
- Maintain a high bar for statistical rigor on your team. Ensure that we’re conducting experimentation and causal analyses that build confidence with your stakeholders.
What we look for in you:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Operations Research, Engineering, a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience with analysis applications (e.g., extracting insights, performing statistical analysis, or solving business problems), and coding (e.g., Python, SQL).
- Experience in articulating product questions, pulling data from datasets, and using statistics.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for efficient querying/wrangling/preprocessing of large datasets. Python it's data analysis and statistical modeling
- Experience partnering effectively on cross-functional projects or teams, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to perform analysis with limited direction (e.g. find drivers of unknown under performance of a product/segment).
- Excellent project management and planning skills and ability to keep multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent problem solving, analysis skills, and business judgment, with the ability to identify vague and complex business problems and come up with robust analytical solutions.
- Demonstration of our core cultural values: clear communication, positive energy, continuous learning, and efficient execution.
