Lead ERP configuration and functional design for FMCG clients: run workshops, translate requirements into system behavior, support UAT and deployments, analyze data, and mentor junior analysts.
About the Role
As a Senior Functional Business Analyst at CONVO, you will play a pivotal role in delivering digital transformation solutions for some of the world’s leading FMCG companies. Your primary mission: understand client needs, master the RGM platform, and configure ERP solutions that deliver measurable value.
You’ll bridge business and technology — combining deep industry understanding, a hands-on approach to configuration, and a sharp, questioning mindset. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex business problems through systems and data, not just requirements documents.
What You’ll Do- Configure ERP systems based on business needs — from module setup to detailed functional rules
- Lead functional design activities and translate client needs into ERP system behavior
- Run and facilitate workshops to map business processes and align on solution design
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to translate configurations into deployments
- Challenge assumptions and proactively propose improvements to business processes or technical solutions
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) planning and execution
- Build client trust by understanding their commercial goals and aligning solutions accordingly
- Guide junior analysts and contribute to internal best practice development
- Stay current on industry trends in FMCG and how they relate to digital transformation and sales enablement
- 6+ years in a Business Analyst, ERP Consultant, or Functional Consultant role
- Experience configuring business applications or ERP systems (e.g., XTEL, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce)
- Strong experience in data analysis using Excel, SQL, and Power BI is required.
- Strong understanding of sales/commercial processes, especially in FMCG or Consumer Goods
- Technically curious and able to ask why — you’re not afraid to challenge the brief or dig into root causes
- Skilled at working with cross-functional teams: business stakeholders, technical teams, testers
- Comfortable supporting the full project lifecycle: workshops, configuration, testing, deployment, and support
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery models
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with requirement gathering and creating functional specs
- Background in Revenue Growth Management, Trade Promotion Management, or Sales Force Automation
- Familiarity with data analysis using tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI
- Exposure to FMCG-focused sales automation platforms
- Inquisitive, analytical, and always looking to improve how things work
- Comfortable in ambiguity and energized by problem-solving
- Enjoy engaging with clients, understanding their business, and making an impact
- Able to translate complex ideas for both business and technical audiences
