ABOUT THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
WIN is looking to add a Senior Accountant to our growing team! You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate monthly accounting and reporting, conducting internal reviews, and assisting in the audit process, while learning and adhering to US accounting standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Execute month-end closings by preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and generating reports for management review.
- Conduct regular journal entries to accurately reflect business transactions and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
- Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by providing financial data and insights.
- Collaborate with accounting team, senior management and external auditors for yearend audits and tax filings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3-7 years of relevant experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related field
- Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Online)
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Strong work ethic, high integrity, and a team-player
