ABOUT THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
WIN is looking for a US-Certified CPA to lead accounting and financial reporting, tax compliance, and strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working with US-based companies and a deep understanding of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and financial processes. This is a remote, full-time position based in India, working closely with India and US teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee month-end and year-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with US GAAP.
- Diligently manage monthly accounts receivables and revenue collection.
- Supervise bookkeeping, ensuring financial records are accurate and audit ready.
- Perform cost analysis, identifying inefficiencies and opportunities for savings.
- Work closely with US-based external tax and audit accounting firms to optimize deductions, credits, and financial strategies. (Note: No direct tax filing responsibilities.)
- Ensure internal financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and present financial models, forecasts, and reports to leadership, helping align financial planning with business goals.
- Support budgeting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid US CPA license, or CPA exams cleared with licensure in progress.
- 5+ years of experience in US accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP compliance standards.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct, or similar accounting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working remotely and coordinating across US and India time zones.
