PAR Technology has an exciting opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to join its growing corporate controllership function. The Senior Accountant, Commercial Accounting, will play a crucial role in building a world-class accounting team. Position Location: Jaipur/Gurugram

Reports To: Finance Manager, Commercial Accounting

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA and/or MBA preferred)

• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a SaaS or technology company

• Strong accounting and finance fundamentals with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills

• Passion for leveraging data to drive decision-making and connect operational metrics to financial outcomes

• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas, financial modeling, and data analysis

• Experience using AI-powered tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar platforms to improve productivity and workflows

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities

• Strong knowledge of IFRS, preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Planful

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

• Play a key role in the day-to-day management of the company's global commercial accounting function

• Support the monthly close process for the company's SaaS product lines, ensuring timely, accurate, and well-controlled financial reporting

• Prepare account reconciliations, journal entries, and technical accounting analyses

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes, controls, and close activities

• Leverage AI tools and automation to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency

• Support reporting requirements, including preparation of footnotes and other disclosures

• Contribute to special projects, process enhancements, and scaling initiatives as the organization grows
