Lead sourcing, analysis, due diligence, negotiation and monitoring of VC/PE investments. Build financial models, evaluate business models and markets, recommend deals to the investment committee, and support portfolio companies to achieve performance objectives. Work collaboratively with the team and maintain strong communication with management.
Investment Professional with over 7 years professional experience in a VC/PE fund or with a management consulting firm.
- S/he would be responsible for the analysis, selection, negotiation and monitoring of investments.
- On the analysis side, s/he will be expected to have an in-depth understanding of the relevant business models, markets and opportunities in the fund’s focus area; they should also be able to create financial models and perform financial analysis to evaluate prospective investments.
- On the selection side, s/he should be able to find attractive investment opportunities, lead due diligence, negotiate terms, and make recommendations to the fund's investment committee.
- On the monitoring side, s/he should be able to track a portfolio company's performance and actively support management in achieving key performance objectives.
- S/he should have strong interpersonal skills and be a team player.
In summary the successful candidate would have demonstrated experience in VC/PE fund along with strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a passion for venture capital and early stage investments.
