- Supply chain (SCM) resources with experience in Inventory (paramount) & Purchasing must have the functional knowledge first and development is second. In this role, functional knowledge of supply chain management (SCM) is paramount, with a focus on inventory management and procurement. The ideal candidate should have the ability to effectively communicate with business stakeholders and translate their requirements into detailed specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize in-depth functional knowledge of supply chain management, specifically in the areas of inventory management and purchasing.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand their requirements and translate them into clear and concise specifications.
- Analyze existing supply chain systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Propose and implement necessary configuration changes to optimize the performance of our existing system.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT and operations, to ensure seamless integration of supply chain processes.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management and purchasing, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in supply chain management practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in supply chain management, with a focus on inventory management and purchasing.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
