Job Description Summary

The Manager - Network plans, directs, and coordinates the operations and architecture of network infrastructure to ensure the availability of the organization’s IT assets. A critical function of this role is to define strategy, support organizational growth, and manage business and operational requirements/expectations. Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to maximize the quality of implementations and support. Manages the implementation of new technologies and looks for opportunities to optimize existing infrastructure to improve services delivered to end users and clients across the company.
Will have a specific operational focus on metrics and infrastructure performance and availability via solid network architecture best practices to scale and meet dynamic business needs. Will also direct the work of a team of operational engineers and architects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and organizational standards.
  • Prior hands-on experience in the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry.
  • Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE (Network Security Expert), Cisco CCNP/CCIE, or equivalent.
  • Exposure to multi-vendor network environments and hybrid cloud networking is an advantage.
  • Monitor network performance and security using advanced tools such as SIEM, ZTNA, and SASE, proactively identifying and resolving vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business requirements and troubleshoot complex network issues efficiently.
  • Document network configurations, changes, and incident responses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Engage in regular security audits and risk assessments to strengthen the organization’s cyber resilience.
  • Support hybrid cloud and multi-vendor environments, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence.

Network Design and Security: Proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network infrastructures in line with industry best practices and organizational standards.
Security Tool Expertise: Experience in monitoring network performance and security using advanced tools such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access), and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge).

Knowledge:
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to proactively identify, analyse, and resolve network vulnerabilities and complex technical issues.
Collaboration and Communication: Strong skills in collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating technical information.
Documentation and Compliance: Competence in documenting network configurations, changes, and incident responses while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Leadership and Mentorship: Capability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff, fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Security Auditing and Risk Assessment: Experience in conducting regular security audits and risk assessments to enhance cyber resilience.
Hybrid Cloud and Multi-Vendor Support: Familiarity with supporting hybrid cloud environments and multi-vendor integrations to ensure operational excellence.
Adaptability to Remote/Hybrid Work: Flexibility to work in remote or hybrid arrangements as per company policy and align with US EST work timings.
