We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and support mainframe-based applications and processes. The role involves working with legacy systems, troubleshooting production issues, improving system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure stable and secure business operations. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications. Work with technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and IMS. Analyze business and technical requirements for new development or system changes. Support batch jobs, online transactions, and production processes. Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes. Monitor application performance and recommend improvements. Participate in system testing, integration testing, and deployment activities. Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards. Collaborate with business analysts, testers, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders. Support modernization, migration, or API integration initiatives involving mainframe systems. Maintain technical documentation, job schedules, and operational procedures. Required Skills experience in COBOL and JCL. Working knowledge of CICS, DB2, VSAM, and mainframe utilities. Understanding of z/OS environment and batch processing. Experience in production support and incident management. Knowledge of debugging, performance tuning, and job scheduling tools. Familiarity with version control and change management processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and collaboration abilities.
