About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Legal & Compliance Executive to support our client's legal, litigation, and regulatory compliance activities in a fast-paced fintech environment. The role will involve drafting and reviewing legal documents, managing legal notices and disputes, maintaining compliance records, and coordinating with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have sound
legal knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters within defined timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, legal notices, letters, and other legal documents.
- Manage and maintain records relating to litigation, disputes, legal notices, contracts, and compliance activities.
- Coordinate with external advocates and legal counsel on ongoing cases, hearings, documentation, and follow-
- ups.
- Support the company in responding to legal notices and handling civil, commercial, contractual, and other
- business-related disputes.
- Prepare case summaries, maintain litigation trackers, monitor deadlines, and provide timely status updates to
- management.
- Assist in regulatory compliance activities, internal policy drafting, and implementation of legal and compliance
- procedures.
- Track changes in applicable laws, rules, and regulations and highlight relevant updates to the concerned
- stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain documents, address legal queries, and support policy and
- process alignment.
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper organization and timely retrieval of legal documents and records.
- Qualifications & Requirements
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- Approximately 2 years of relevant experience in legal, litigation, contracts, or compliance work.
- Sound understanding of civil law, commercial law, contract law, and legal documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication, drafting, research, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple legal matters, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- Proactive approach, attention to detail, professional judgment, and confidence in presenting legal views.
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements relevant to the business; familiarity with RBI, SEBI, or other
- applicable regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
- Exposure to financial services, fintech, payments, or other regulated industries is preferred.
