Tide is seeking an exceptional Lead Product Designer to join our Financial Services team. We build the tools that empower our members to sell their offerings and get paid seamlessly. In this role, you will lead the creation of world-class commerce experiences, solving the most critical challenges for micro, small, and medium enterprises. ABOUT THE ROLE:- Own the design vision for a core business area within the Tide platform, ensuring a cohesive and frictionless customer experience that integrates seamlessly with our broader ecosystem.

- Evolve the Tide Design System, working within—and contributing to—our shared principles and component libraries to ensure brand consistency.
We're seeking a curious and talented Lead Product Designer with a passion for exceptional customer experiences and the skills to bring them to life. The impact and scope of this role are huge, and you’ll be a key contributor to our continued success as we shape the future of our financial platform for Small & Medium-sized Enterprises.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Product Design, ideally within a SaaS, Fintech, or high-growth scale-up environment.
- Leadership: A proven track record of leading design workstreams and mentoring or managing junior designers.
- Complexity: Experience designing for complex user flows, business tools, or financial services.
- Methodology: In-depth knowledge of User Experience and Product Design methodologies, with experience facilitating workshops and design sprints.
- Technical Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Figma and advanced prototyping tools.
- Agility: Comfortable working in an agile environment and navigating the ambiguity of a rapidly scaling business.
- Data-Informed: A data-driven approach to design, with experience using tools like Looker, Heap, GA, or Hotjar to inform and validate decisions.
- Education: A relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
