Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic and results-driven Lead – IT Procurement (Data Center) to join our IT Procurement team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end procurement activities for data center infrastructure, Information Technology (IT) hardware, software, network equipment, cloud services, and related technology solutions. You will join a high-performing, collaborative cross-functional team dedicated to empowering global data center operations through strategic vendor management, commercial optimization, and governance.
What You’ll DoIn this role, you will:
Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end procurement and category management strategies for data center infrastructure, cloud services, hardware, and software.
Vendor & OEM Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), distributors, and service providers to ensure top-tier delivery and performance.
Commercial Negotiation & Contracting: Direct commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and execute Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes alongside Legal teams.
Cost Optimization: Drive cost-reduction initiatives, benchmarking, and spend analysis to achieve annual procurement savings targets without compromising quality.
Governance & Team Leadership: Ensure compliance with enterprise procurement policies, track key metrics, and mentor team members to support continuous process improvement.
The ideal candidate will have:
10–15 years of experience in Information Technology (IT) Procurement with significant exposure to Data Center infrastructure procurement.
Strong knowledge of enterprise technology procurement across major platforms (e.g., Cisco, Dell Technologies, HPE, NetApp, Fortinet, Cloud Infrastructure, and Software Licensing).
Demonstrated expertise in commercial negotiations, supplier performance management, and executing complex contract agreements.
Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional leadership in Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Operations.
Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms such as SAP or Oracle PeopleSoft.
