Position Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced and certified HR Manager with a profound expertise in HR and Soft Skills training. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with over a decade of experience in designing, delivering, and managing comprehensive training programs in both in-person and virtual formats. This role is pivotal in developing our internal talent as well as clients and ensuring our training methodologies remain at the forefront of the industry.

Key Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery & Facilitation:
• Design, develop, and deliver high-impact training modules on a wide range of HR topics and essential Soft Skills (e.g., Leadership, Communication, Team Building, Negotiation, Customer Service, Presentation Skills etc).
• Facilitate engaging and effective training sessions for diverse audiences, including clients & corporates, employees at all levels, academic faculty, leadership teams.
• Masterfully utilize both in-person and virtual training platforms (e.g., Zoom Meeting, Zoho Meeting, LMS integrations) to ensure an interactive and impactful learning experience.
2. Program Design & Strategy:
• Conduct training for clients/ corporates using Blue Ocean’s proprietary HR certification courses.
• Conduct thorough Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify skill gaps and development opportunities across the organization.
• Develop a strategic L&D roadmap aligned with the company's business objectives and academic goals.
• Create and curate training content, participant workbooks, presentations, e-learning modules, and quick reference guides.
3. L&D Operations & Management:
• Manage the end-to-end training cycle, from scheduling to delivery and post-training evaluation.
• Leverage Learning Management System (LMS) features to track participation, progress, and program effectiveness.
4. Evaluation & Impact Analysis:
• Develop and implement robust evaluation frameworks (e.g., Kirkpatrick Model) to measure the effectiveness and ROI of training programs.
• Analyze feedback and performance metrics to continuously refine and improve training content and delivery methods.
• Prepare and present detailed reports on training activities, outcomes, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
5. Coaching & Mentoring:
• Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring to managers and high-potential employees to support their professional development.
Requirements
Education:
Master’s degree in Human Resources or Organizational Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.
Certification:
Active professional certification in at least one of the following:
o SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management)
o SPHRi or PHRi (HRCI - Global Credentials)
o CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development)
Experience:
o A minimum of 10 years of proven experience specifically in HR and Soft Skills training.
o Demonstrated expertise in facilitating training through both in-person and virtual modes.
o Preferred: Prior experience within the training & development industry, consulting firms, or the academic/education sector (e.g., corporate universities, management institutes).

• Exceptional Presentation & Facilitation Skills: Ability to command a room (physical and virtual) and engage audiences dynamically.
• Subject Matter Expertise: Deep knowledge of HR principles, practices, and current industry trends, coupled with expert-level soft skills training capability.
• Technological Proficiency: High comfort level with virtual training technology, LMS, MS Office Suite, and content creation tools.
• Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into effective learning solutions.
• Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Interpersonal Skills: High emotional intelligence, empathy, and the ability to build rapport quickly with diverse groups.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong data analysis skills to measure training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions.
