Position Summary :
Serve as the primary implementation interface for an assigned cluster of States, UTs, SNAs, SIAs and DISCOMs. The role tracks programme milestones, facilitates approvals and field coordination, validates progress, resolves bottlenecks and converts state-level information into clear performance notes and action plans.
Job Description:
Manage a defined cluster of States, UTs and DISCOMs based on programme workload.
Maintain state implementation plans, milestone trackers, issue registers, escalation matrices and contact lists.
Coordinate regularly with SNA, SIA, DISCOM and other state officials and follow up on pending actions.
Track feasibility studies, sanctions, approvals, connectivity, procurement, installation, inspection, commissioning and post-commissioning milestones, as applicable.
Support coordination on feeder and substation readiness, metering, PPA or energy-sale arrangements and other scheme-specific requirements.
Coordinate field visits, inspections and evidence collection where required.
Validate reported progress using records, photographs, geo-tagging, portal data or other approved evidence.
Prepare state performance notes, bottleneck analyses, review material and recovery or corrective-action plans.
Facilitate coordination among state departments, DISCOMs, banks, vendors, developers, local bodies and beneficiary groups.
Support development of state-specific process improvements, advance clearances and single-window mechanisms.
Minimum qualifications and experience:
Master's degree in Engineering/Technology, Renewable Energy, Management, Economics, Public Policy or an equivalent discipline.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in renewable energy, power distribution, government programme implementation, utility/DISCOM coordination or infrastructure.

Working Relationships :
Work closely with client, internal PMU colleagues and relevant state, utility, financial, vendor or technology stakeholders.
Maintain role-specific work plans, action trackers, deliverable calendars and supporting records.
Produce clear, accurate and decision-ready outputs within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Handle programme, beneficiary, financial, portal and stakeholder information confidentially and follow approved access and information-security requirements.
Undertake field travel and support urgent programme reviews when required by the assignment.
