Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, observability, and security scanning. Build and manage GCP cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes orchestration, oversee migrations and release management, troubleshoot production incidents, and drive infrastructure-as-code and reliability best practices in collaboration with engineering teams.
We are seeking a versatile DevOps / QA / Platform Generalist to support the full software delivery lifecycle, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable systems. This role combines DevOps practices, quality assurance, and platform engineering to streamline CI/CD processes, enforce testing standards, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure.
The Key Responsibilities are:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
- Develop and manage automated testing frameworks to ensure high software quality and reliability.
- Implement observability and monitoring solutions to track system performance and proactively detect issues.
- Integrate security scanning tools into pipelines to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Manage application migrations and oversee release management processes to ensure smooth deployments.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure using GCP services and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Utilize Cloud Build and related tools to streamline and optimize build and deployment workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
- Establish best practices for infrastructure as code, version control, and release processes.
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure high availability and system resilience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in DevOps, QA, Platform Engineering, or a similar role.
- Strong experience in CI/CD tools and pipeline implementation.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and quality engineering practices.
- Hands-on experience with observability, logging, and monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of security scanning and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience managing migrations and release management processes.
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Experience using Cloud Build or similar tools for build automation.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code and system reliability practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.This opportunity is remote for Egyptian applicants and Hybrid for Lebanese applicants.
