Role Database Track Architect The Database Track Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient database solutions. This role requires deep expertise in database architecture, performance tuning, and data modelling. The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams, data engineers, and IT infrastructure to ensure the optimal performance and reliability of database systems. Key Responsibilities: • Architectural Design: o Design and implement scalable and high-performance database architectures that meet business requirements. o Develop and maintain database standards, guidelines, and best practices. • Performance Tuning and Optimization: o Analyze database performance issues and provide solutions to optimize performance. o Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. • Data Modeling: o Develop logical and physical data models for new projects and maintain models for existing databases. o Ensure data integrity and consistency across various databases. • Collaboration and Support: o Collaborate with application development teams to design and implement database solutions. o Provide guidance and support to database administrators (DBAs) and developers on database-related issues. • Security and Compliance: o Implement and maintain database security policies to protect sensitive data. o Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements. • Technology Evaluation and Implementation: o Stay up-to-date with emerging database technologies and evaluate their applicability to the company’s needs. o Lead the implementation of new database technologies and tools.
