Customer Project Management focuses on planning and delivering cross-functional, geographically distributed customer projects on time, within scope, budget, and quality targets while managing risks throughout the project lifecycle. It also oversees stakeholder relationships, project teams, financial performance, and identifies opportunities to improve margins through upselling and cross-selling.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the end‑to‑end delivery of complex Railway projects, involving multiple internal and external products, technologies, and solutions.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet defined scope, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, enabling effective cross‑functional collaboration.
- Drive all project communication, including planning, risk assessment, change management, and opportunity identification.
- Monitor project financial performance, contractual adherence, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Oversee and facilitate project closure activities, ensuring proper transition and comprehensive handover of deliverables.
- Identify challenges proactively and translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Support the sales cycle by identifying upselling and cross‑selling opportunities during project execution.
- Manage internal and external escalations, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
- Provide executive‑level project status reporting, ensuring transparency and predictability.
- Lead vendor management activities, ensuring alignment with project goals and service expectations.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10–15 years of experience leading complex projects; PMP certification strongly preferred.~
- Proven experience delivering Railway projects, including deployment of various railway subsystems.
- Strong hands‑on expertise in implementing CORE, IP, and RAN (4G & 5G) from an end‑to‑end perspective.
- Exceptional customer focus with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to act as a motivational team leader, collaborating effectively with peers, customers, and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills and high autonomy in managing day‑to‑day responsibilities.
Good to Have
- Experience in R&D technical project management.
- Prior experience working closely with customer engineering or operational teams.
