Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Category Lead - Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Services to join our Global Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the global category strategy, managing complex end-to-end sourcing projects, and optimizing our global footprint for cost and scalability.
You will join a high-impact team of subject matter experts dedicated to transforming traditional vendor relationships into value-driven partnerships within a mature global environment.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Execute Category Strategy: Deliver the global Business Process Outsourcing and Information Technology (IT) Services roadmap by identifying demand management opportunities and implementing best-in-class commercial structures, including Output-based, Outcome-based, and Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) models.
Lead Strategic Sourcing and Contracting: Manage the full lifecycle of complex Request for Proposal, Quotation, or Information (RFx) processes and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) with a focus on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Ensure Risk Mitigation and Compliance: Partner closely with Legal and Risk teams to manage jurisdictional and data privacy risks, ensuring all third-party engagements align with rigorous organizational compliance standards.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
8-12 years of progressive experience in Procurement and Category Management, including at least 4 years specifically focused on Business Process Outsourcing and Information Technology Outsourcing services.
Strong knowledge of BPO pricing mechanics and market trends regarding automation, such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Proven ability in strategic stakeholder management, acting as a trusted advisor to Global Business Services (GBS), IT, and Operations leadership to align procurement with business transformation goals.
A Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Master of Business Administration (MBA); Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) qualifications are highly preferred.
