Business Analyst – Airline Domain
Location: Cochin / Trivandrum/ Bangalore
Experience: 7–12 years
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong airline domain and functional expertise to work closely with business and technology teams, translating airline business needs into clear functional requirements and user stories.
Key Responsibilities
• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements (BRDs, FRDs, user stories)
• Work with airline business stakeholders and delivery teams across the SDLC
• Translate airline operational processes into system requirements
• Support Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming, UAT, and production releases
• Perform impact analysis and support change initiatives
Airline Domain Experience
• Hands-on experience in airline systems such as Reservations & Ticketing, PSS, DCS, Revenue Management, Inventory, Loyalty, or Ancillaries
• Good understanding of airline operations, customer journeys, and revenue streams
Required Skills
• Proven Business Analysis experience in airline or aviation IT environments
• Strong functional analysis and documentation skills
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (mandatory)
• Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities
Tools
• JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps (or similar)
• Process modelling and documentation tools
Preferred (Optional)
• Experience with IATA standards (NDC, EMD, One Order, etc.)
• Business Analysis or Agile certifications (optional)
