Lead technical design and implementation of data-centric solutions: build high-performance ELT/ETL pipelines, author optimized production SQL (stored procedures, UDFs), tune queries, implement data models (star/snowflake), enforce data quality, lineage and metadata practices, and guide MDM and governance adoption.
Required Skills: 7–10 years of experience in data-centric development and engineering projects. Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses (Snowflake preferable). Expert-level SQL proficiency (Advanced Joins, CTEs, Window Functions, and Recursive Queries). Mastery in writing and debugging high-performance Stored Procedures and SQL UDFs. Deep knowledge of SQL performance tuning, query profiling, and execution plan analysis. Expertise in Data Modelling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) and physical implementation. Proven track record of building robust ELT/ETL pipelines for complex transformations. Strict adherence to Good Data Practices (Data Quality checks, Lineage, and Metadata management). Technical leadership in translating business requirements into optimized, production-grade SQL code.Preferred Skills: Hands-on experience with Snowflake (Warehouses, Tasks, Streams, and Time Travel). Experience with Reltio MDM (Match/Merge rules, Survivorship, and L3 models). Solid understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and "Golden Record" concepts. Proficiency in handling Semi-structured data (JSON, XML) directly through SQL. Familiarity with Data Governance, security standards (RBAC), and SQL version control.
