Job Description
As a Backend Engineer you will be responsible for shaping the server infrastructure that powers our player management system. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers, designers, and artists to create a seamless and engaging world for our players.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs to support various game features, including player interactions, game mechanics, and data storage.
- Implement security best practices to protect user data, prevent cheating, and secure communication between clients and servers.
- Participate in all aspects of the project life-cycle, from concept, to specification to release to live support
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, game designers, and other stakeholders to integrate backend services seamlessly into the overall game architecture.
Skills & Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software development
- Deep-level knowledge of SQL
- Proficient in C# Development
- Experience in general database management
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills
- Ability to clearly and articulately communicate across functions, disciplines, and audiences
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills while exercising sound judgment
- AA+ game experience
- Great communication and leadership skills and also being a team player
- Fluent in English, both verbally and written
As a pluses:
- Unreal Engine knowledge
- Experience and understanding in rust and blockchain development
