Assistant Project Manager - WHAT YOU’LL DO
Provide support to a team of project managers by successfully completing and managing multiple tasks throughout the numerous stages of managing projects.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Experience in project coordination or project management, with the ability to support multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Skills in expediting and working as an expeditor to move materials, approvals, and tasks through the project lifecycle efficiently.
  • Knowledge of inspection processes, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up on findings.
  • Logistics management skills to coordinate technicians, vendor partners, materials, and schedules across various locations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for working with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) or similar tools.
  • Ability to work on-site in Melville, NY, collaborate in a team environment, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Relevant experience in facility management, construction, or related fields preferred.
  • Assist in procuring pricing bids from pre-qualified subcontractors and technicians.
  • Complete all assigned project implementation tasks by set deadlines.
  • Training on Mold remediation will be ongoing you may be asked to attend training and seminars and be cross trained.
  • Assist in coordinating project scheduling requirements with contractors, Landlord agents, and Clients. Utilize the Global software management system GEMS to ensure all projects are properly documented and status updated throughout all project phases up to and including submittal of change orders and invoices.
  • Learn Client software management systems and successfully utilize per Client requirements.

  • Ability to switch task easily and quickly process information
  • Ability to successfully manage to tight deadlines
  • Articulate in both written and spoken communication
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote and keyboarding skills
