Job Description

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced marketing manager to lead marketing program execution in the Asia Pacific (AP) region for our two industry segments- Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and Life Sciences (LS). This position must work independently to plan and build the marketing campaigns within targeted industries in AP region. You will also work with the AP sales teams in the target industry segments to ensure sales support of marketing events, capture sales feedback and measure main campaign performance metrics. Selected you will advise leadership team on strategies to increase the impact of AP marketing within target segments. They will build a regional network of vendors, societies and conferences to accelerate growth within segment and establish Rockwell Automation as an expert in the manufacturing automation and digital solutions space.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop Asia Pacific (AP) annual marketing plan and budget requirements as part of the Global Industry Marketing team, during our annual operational planning cycle. The will ensure a marketing plan that is consistent with our goals and growth targets for the region.
  • Collaborate with AP sales leaders from CPG and LS to provide a closed-loop of feedback and close coordinate of all regional events and campaigns. You will be the marketing contact for AP sales and will ensure and improve regional challenges and priorities manner.
  •  Collaborate with broader Global Marketing organization and AP Marketing to build integrated campaigns; including Marcom, Events, Digital, Demand Generation and other teams.
  • Ensure Global industry within AP focused campaigns, while providing AP context, success stories, where these are available to strengthen the global message.
  • Work with AP customers frequently, develop collaborations for regional webinars, conference presentations, articles and blogs. Learn of coming trends and translate these into future investment opportunities and marketing program strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a regional network of vendors, industry associations and societies. Ensure regional expertise through oral presentations, blogs and success stories to establish Rockwell’s market leadership in segment and region. Evaluate Return on investment for membership and participation.
  • Bear accountability for AP CPG/LS marketing budget facilitation and leadership report outs of performance and metrics
  • As a member of the Global Industry Marketing team, participate in global projects and contribute to Global strategic content creation, Automation Fair planning (Rockwell Automations’ annual customer conference) and other globally oriented workstreams
  • Responsible for AP/ industry proof points, including campaign material, collateral for trade conferences and AP specific sales enablement support.

 Main SKILLS, ABILITIES and ATTRIBUTES:

  • Substantial knowledge and 5+ years of experience marketing in the CPG and/or LS manufacturing space, knowledge of manufacturing automation or digital technologies used within manufacturing
  • Overall 9+ years of experience and skills as a Marketing manager. Specifically, we are looking for experience with execution of customer focused regional events, user group meetings, conferences, email campaigns, webinars, digital marketing, social media marketing.
  • Excellent written, oral required and maybe be evaluated during interview (past marketing campaign or writing examples encouraged). You can write  industry/ customer-specific and brand marketing copy.
  • Desirable to have leadership skills and stage presence. You can serve as event master of ceremonies, organize and moderate customer sessions.
  • Strong campaign measurement skills to enable measurement of program Measurements, and reporting on program goal accomplishment.
  • Strong Program management skills to, maintain timelines and ensure on time and on budget campaign execution in a matrixed environment.
  • Excel and lead regional programs as part of a global team, with remote management lines. 

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in engineering or marketing, MBA.
  • Must be able to work out of our Gurugram office in Delhi NCR
  • The position requires a broad marketing skill set, and at least 5-7 years of marketing experience in Industry Marketing or End User/OEM Marketing Roles in target industries
  • Extensive experience in the target industries- CPG and/or LS
