Analyst – Energy Analytics

This full-time, paid position is available to candidates with a bachelor’s or master’s degree plus one year of experience and will be located in New Delhi office. ICF analysts are provided with training to develop consulting skills as well as skillsets in the specific domain area, in an environment that fosters growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Create EV-Related Analytics Visualizations: Develop data dashboards for key data products focused on electric vehicles and their charging equipment.

• Build GIS Analysis and Imagery Tools: Using our GIS platform to develop new apps for rich geospatial data presentation.

• Fuel AI Innovation: Use data from across the US to predict the presence and location of commercial fleet vehicles with AI and deep / machine learning models.

• Classify Imagery For AI Training: Employ AI training skills to categorize identified vehicles based on pre-defined standards, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of the data used to train our AI/DL/ML models.

• Improve Quality And Model Outcomes: Identify and document any discrepancies or data quality issues found during development, proposing solutions and improvements to further enhance the training data for AI/DL/ML models.

• Collaborate Across Teams: Actively participate in regular project team meetings, offering valuable insights and collaborating with colleagues to achieve project objectives and continuously optimize the data analysis process.

Basic Qualifications

• Graduated with a bachelor’s or in Data Science, Software Engineering, Transportation, or related subjects.

• Minimum 8/10 CGPA.

• 0 -1 year or more of professional experience implementing data solutions with Azure Databricks and SQL database development.

• 0-6 months or more professional experience with deep learning or machine learning projects.

• Experience building Power BI or Carto data visualization solutions.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Strong writing and communication skills.

• A passion for the energy industry, with specific interest in electric vehicles.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.

• Experience handling aerial imagery.

• Experience developing using a GIS analysis environment such as ArcGIS or Carto.

• Development experience with PySpark and/or Microsoft Fabric.
