About Ampverse DMI
Ampverse, Asia’s largest ecosystem of gaming and entertainment communities and IPs, has joined forces with DMI Group in India, forming a strategic joint venture. The primary objective of this partnership is to bolster the esports and gaming ecosystem in the country and create a dedicated platform to nurture and promote college esports talents. Leveraging Ampverse’s expertise in building esports and gaming communities and DMI Finance’s financial prowess, the joint venture aspires to revolutionize the gaming ecosystem in India. They plan to achieve this by developing a series of Gaming IPs including a national collegiate Esports platform, hosting on-ground activations, forging partnerships with influential gaming figures, and establishing mentorship programs to nurture up-and-coming college Esports talent. The first co-developed IP, College Rivals - Esports Series was launched in August 2023. Central to their mission is the idea of fostering inclusivity, diversity, and excellence within the Indian Gaming community. What You Will Do
Performance Marketing
● Own and scale paid campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, YouTube, Display, and affiliates — with a strong ROI and CAC focus
● Lead performance marketing for all our products—
● Experiment aggressively with emerging channels — Reddit, Snapchat, programmatic — with a test-learn-scale mindset
● Build and own attribution, tracking, and reporting infrastructure — you should be as comfortable in Ads Manager as you are in a spreadsheet
● Manage budgets efficiently with clear ROI accountability Growth & Product Marketing
● Drive growth for our performance marketing product and help shape it— understanding both the supply side and demand side
● Build performance-linked campaign structures that demonstrate measurable outcomes for brand partners
● Identify and activate new audience segments — Gen Z, Tier 2/3 cities, female gamers — through data-driven targeting
Social & Content
● Collaborate on social strategy , amplify social through performance
● Deep understanding of short-form content formats — Reels, Shorts, meme culture, viral loops — to inform paid creative strategy
● Understand influencer and creator collaborations from a performance lens
Analytics & Insights
● Monitor and analyse campaign performance, website traffic, and funnel metrics
● Make data-driven recommendations, you should be allergic to vanity metrics
● Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes, industry trends, and competitor activity
What We Are Looking For
● 4–6 years of experience in performance/growth marketing, ideally in gaming, esports, media, or consumer tech
● Hands-on experience managing large-scale paid campaigns across Meta, Google, and YouTube
● Proven track record of driving measurable growth , registrations, installs, leads, or revenue
● Strong understanding of Gen Z behaviour, gaming culture, and community-driven marketing
● Experience with influencer and creator-led marketing from a performance perspective
● Comfort with ambiguity , we are a startup, you will build as much as you execute
● Esports or gaming industry knowledge is a strong plus
This role is envisioned as a senior marketing hire who will progressively take ownership of the overall marketing function, for Ampverse DMI India, working in close partnership with the Business Head.

This is not a social media manager role. This is not a content creator role. If your strongest skill is writing captions or making reels, this is not the right fit. We have that covered. We need someone who can make paid budgets work harder than anyone else in the room.
