Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes; prepare management accounts, variance analyses, executive reporting, audit schedules, and reconciliations. Serve as the liaison for internal and external auditors, manage SAP FICO accounting activities, support telecom revenue recognition and intercompany settlements, and ensure compliance with IFRS/SFRS, internal controls, and telecom regulations.
- Lead the finalization of accounts, including drafting notes
to accounts and supporting schedules for periodic/annual financial audits.
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external
auditors to ensure seamless audit
completion and timely query resolution.
- Manage end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing
processes in adherence to group deadlines.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis
(actual vs. budget/forecast), and executive financial reporting packages.
- Utilize SAP FICO modules for general ledger entries,
asset accounting, intercompany reconciliations, and cost center management.
- Ensure system accounting workflows align with internal
controls and group financial standards.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, revenue recognition
processes specific to telecom operations, and intercompany settlements.
- Ensure strict compliance with relevant accounting standards
(IFRS/SFRS) and telecom regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Industry Experience: 4+ years of financial accounting experience strictly within the
Telecommunications industry.
Technical Expertise: Advanced, mandatory working knowledge of SAP FICO.
Education: M.Com (Master of Commerce), Bachelor’s in
Commerce/Accountancy/Finance, or equivalent qualification (CA/CPA/ACCA is a
plus).
Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of telecom revenue accounting, audit schedule
preparation, analytical precision, and ability to manage strict closing
timelines.
