Leads strategic communications, branding, media relations, and public engagement for IMDA’s emerging technology portfolio. The role develops narratives and messaging frameworks, manages multi-agency and partner communications, shapes public perception of robotics initiatives, oversees digital and social channels, monitors engagement and sentiment, handles crisis communications, and advises senior stakeholders. It also mentors team members and establishes playbooks, reporting routines, and engagement standards.

Develops and reviews licensing policies and regulatory frameworks for telecommunications, digital infrastructure, and postal sectors. Evaluates data center and cloud provider license applications, coordinates with government agencies and internal teams, implements licensing frameworks, and handles industry licensing queries. The role requires integrating strategic, economic, security, resilience, sustainability, consumer, and industry considerations while communicating effectively with stakeholders.

Analyzes employment data and labor market trends, researches industry developments, engages stakeholders, and develops data-driven manpower policies and initiatives for the ICT and Media sector. Collaborates with public agencies to formulate and implement workforce strategies supporting economic needs and company manpower requirements.
