Own monthly close package assembly, load and validate financial data in SmartView/Hyperion, use AI tools to streamline reporting, identify process improvements, communicate close status and risks, and support additional financial analysis and reporting.

Develop and maintain backend services for Insurance Services, extract property attributes using regular expressions and large language models, and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists. Responsibilities include writing tested code, participating in reviews, working with microservices and cloud infrastructure, completing defined tasks, and communicating progress. The role requires SQL, JVM or Scala experience, exposure to data science, containerization, event-driven systems, cloud platforms, and CI/CD.

Build, monitor, optimize, and maintain cloud-based ETL/ELT pipelines supporting business intelligence and reporting. Develop high-performance SQL transformations, manage data warehouse schemas, tune query and pipeline performance, and optimize cloud costs. Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, actuaries, and architects to translate insurance and SaaS requirements into scalable technical solutions. Participate in code reviews, documentation, troubleshooting, and data integrity initiatives.
