The City Lead will manage urban disease surveillance strengthening in Patna, ensuring effective planning, implementation, and stakeholder engagement across health domains to improve public health systems.

Develop and deploy production-grade computer-vision and vision-language pipelines to extract structured data from mobile-captured HMIS forms. Research and fine-tune VLMs and OCR/HTR models, optimize inference (batching, KV cache, quantization), design scalable cloud and on-prem GPU infrastructure, and enable multilingual, low-cost, edge-capable solutions for high-volume form processing.

Coordinate and execute urban/peri-urban disease surveillance activities in Patna, including facility visits, GIS geo-tagging, data verification, supply chain assessments, training logistics, outbreak support, documentation, and stakeholder coordination to strengthen surveillance systems and implement city action plans.

Coordinate and implement urban and peri-urban disease surveillance activities in Nagpur, conduct facility visits and data collection (including GIS geo-tagging), support training and outbreak response logistics, maintain documentation and trackers, and liaise with health facilities and surveillance units to ensure timely program execution.
